Ken Dryden Signed 1972 Team Canada Hand Painted Bobblehead. Dryden is regarded as one of the toughest and rarest signatures in hockey and has hand-signed this Bobble Dobble 1972 Team Canada Limited Edition Bobblehead. The signature is personalized “To Sole” and comes in its original box and clam shell packaging. This item will be accompanied with an AJ Sports Certificate of Authenticity and tamper resistant hologram. AJ Sports guarantees the authenticity of this signature as well as any signature we offer for sale. The photos shown are of the exact item you are bidding on and the figurine measures roughly 8 inches in height. 1972 Team Canada signed items by Dryden are extremely scarce, highly sought-after by the collecting community and rarely come up for sale as he hardly signs anything let alone a figurine.
This lot came from a large private collection that we recently acquired (The GW Collection). We will be featuring many items from this elaborate collection that took years to curate in our upcoming auctions. The items from the GW Collection were acquired over a 20 year plus span by a local Toronto based, in-person collector who spent thousands, upon thousands of hours at signings and shows to acquire these unique items. Some pieces from the collection have documentation from other reputable sources that we will specify in detail for each auction item. We are very honoured to be able to showcase this wonderful collection with many one-of-a-kind items that have not been offered in the marketplace for many years, if ever.
