Team Canada 1972 Summit Series Print Signed By 28 Framed 26x28 Display #51/72. This incredible limited edition 16x20 print numbered 51 out of only 72 pieces in total has been signed by 28 members of 1972 Team Canada that is famously dubbed "The Team of the Century". This stunning piece has been signed by: Paul Henderson, Bobby Clarke, Yvan Cournoyer, Phil Esposito, Tony Esposito, John Ferguson, Rod Gilbert, Guy Lapointe, Frank Mahovlich, Peter Mahovlich, Brad Park, Serge Savard, Harry Sinden, Don Awrey, Red Berenson, Ron Ellis, Brian Glennie, Jocelyn Guevremont, Bob Haggert, Dennis Hull, Eddie Johnston, J.P Parise, Rick Martin, Mickey Redmond, Rod Seiling, Pat Stapleton, Dale Tallon and Bill White. It is very rare to find a 1972 Canada piece with this many signatures. This is the exact item you will be receiving and is accompanied with a Frozen Pond Certificate of Authenticity.
Please note this lot is sold as is: The frame is not brand new and has some minor flaws such as paint chipping from the frame. As well the signatures are slightly lighter than when they were first signed but still vey vibrant and easy to identify.
This lot came from a large private collection that we recently acquired (The GW Collection). We will be featuring many items from this elaborate collection that took years to curate in our upcoming auctions. The items from the GW Collection were acquired over a 20 year plus span by a local Toronto based, in-person collector who spent thousands, upon thousands of hours at signings and shows to acquire these unique items. Some pieces from the collection have documentation from other reputable sources that we will specify in detail for each auction item.
