The Beatles Famous Portrait of an Era 24x36 Print By Linda McCartney. The Beatles "Portrait of an Era" is a stunning 24x36 inch print on museum weight paper taken by Paul McCartney’s late wife, Linda McCartney. Printed in 2008 by Opus One Publishing, this is an MPL Communications Limited authorized reproduction of an original 35mm black and white photograph taken by Linda McCartney in 1967. This print (that is out of print and no longer available for sale) measures 24x36 inches and was taken by Paul’s late wife, Linda McCartney at Brian Epstein’s home in Belgravia, London at the historic launch of Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band in London, 1967. On the evening of May 19th 1967, Beatles' manager Brian Epstein hosted select journalists and broadcasters from the music and national press, in his home at 24 Chappel Street, London. The occasion was a promotional party attended by the Beatles to launch their new LP Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band.

The print is on high quality museum weight paper. The print has never been displayed, does have some minor surface wear (on Ringo’s suit jacket), and some wear above the MPL writing on the bottom left white area (no pin holes, tears). Front and back shown. The back has the price sticker on from when it was originally purchased. Has a printed facsimile Linda signature on the bottom right corner. The images shown are of the exact item you are buying, not stock photos. This item will be shipped securely rolled in a thick poster tube.
